Site Navigation
A very important element on every website is a navigation or menu system. The navigation system should be consistent, meaning it should be on the same place on every page.
A good site menu not only shows your visitors where they can go, it also indicates where they are on your site.
The main menu should be at the top of every page, either horizontal or vertical. The main menu can be enhanced by mouse-over effects (the menu buttons appearance changes when users go over them). A different color should indicate on which page the visitor is.
On bigger websites a bottom menu should be included so your visitors don't have to scroll up after reading a long page.
A so called bread crumb trail (you'll find it at the top of every page on our website), indicating the path from the home page to the current page, makes it even easier for visitors to find their way around on your website.
Last but not least, including a site map completes the site navigation system.
On this website we included all of the above mentioned navigation systems so you can see how they work on a website.
We'll make sure your visitors will never get lost on your website!
